If you need immediate support
Dynamic’s grief-support services are not emergency or crisis services. If you or someone you know is experiencing emotional distress or thoughts of suicide, call or text 988 to connect with the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. Free and confidential support is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. If someone is in immediate danger or experiencing a medical emergency, call 911.
Support for Professionals and the Community
Caring for those who care for others
Professional caregivers experience grief too. Facility staff may form meaningful relationships with the people they care for while also supporting residents and families through repeated decline, death and loss. Dynamic provides grief education and supportive programming for assisted-living communities, memory-care communities, personal-care homes, skilled-nursing facilities and other community
organizations.
Support for professional caregivers may include:
● Staff support following the death of a resident
● Guided grief debriefings
● Education about cumulative grief and repeated loss
● Support for compassion fatigue and caregiver strain
● Guidance for supporting grieving residents and families
● Meaningful remembrance practices for facility communities
● Grief education for healthcare professionals
● Customized workshops based on the needs of the organization
